Associate Director D, Research
The Associate Director D of Research will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Penn Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics (CNT). The CNT is a collaborative translational research space focused on developing new devices, diagnostics and treatments that can restore brain and nervous system function after it has been lost to disease or disability. The Center brings together clinician scientists and engineers to effectively bring critical technologies to patient care.
Responsibilities
The Associate Director will oversee daily financial operations, sponsored research administration, student and trainee administration, and core business processes, ensuring compliance with both University and School policies. The Associate Director plays a key role in supporting the Center’s academic, educational and research missions and will report to the Director of the Center for Neuroengineering and Therapeutics.

- Demonstrated ability to function both independently and as part of a team. Excellent collaboration and team‑building skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a degree and experience in the clinical and/or research space within Neuroscience or the life/health sciences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

- Pay Range: $79,500.00 – $89,500.00 annual rate
- Position is contingent upon continued funding.
