Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals and addressing evolving threats.
2. Support security operations and incident response, providing expertise in GCP-related activities such as incident response, threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation.
3. Oversee the integration of GCP and Workbench security tooling, automations, and processes for unified security monitoring and response.
4. Stay updated with cybersecurity practices and technologies, mentor team members, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
5. Drive automation to improve security monitoring and response, documenting processes in playbooks and guides.
6. Build relationships with internal teams and security vendors to ensure strategy alignment and promote collaboration.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of eight years in security architecture, with expertise in GCP and security tooling integration.
2. Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as CISSP and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are advantageous.
3. Experience leading security projects, understanding regulatory requirements like NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA.
4. Strong communication skills and ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
5. Ability to develop resource and project plans, foster team development, and interface across organizational levels.
6. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
