KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals and addressing evolving threats.
- Support security operations and incident response, providing expertise in GCP-related activities such as incident response, threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation.
- Oversee the integration of GCP and Workbench security tooling, automations, and processes for unified security monitoring and response.
- Stay updated with cybersecurity practices and technologies, mentor team members, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Drive automation to improve security monitoring and response, documenting processes in playbooks and guides.
- Build relationships with internal teams and security vendors to ensure strategy alignment and promote collaboration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years in security architecture, with expertise in GCP and security tooling integration.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as CISSP and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are advantageous.
- Experience leading security projects, understanding regulatory requirements like NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to develop resource and project plans, foster team development, and interface across organizational levels.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
