Position Summary

NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, CRM and Analytics in the Information Technology department. The Associate Director will serve as a key resource in building and executing Stern’s data strategy, which is crucial to the success and reputation of NYU Stern as a top ranked business school. Work to ensure the optimal performance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, databases, and products, upgrading and configuring systems to ensure key stakeholders can leverage the platform for self-service reporting and on-demand analytics. Serve as an internal consultant providing data analytics support and training across Stern. Manage the data collected at the School level and maintain expert level knowledge of Stern and University data. Oversee the creation and maintenance of interactive reporting dashboards and data visualization for use across Stern. Provide technical assistance and training to various stakeholders on the utility and interpretation of data. Implement school-wide assessments and initiatives, and collaborate with business partners on data collection workflow and data analysis, reporting the results to Stern’s leadership team.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience with relational databases, data integration, and statistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in data mappings, documenting transformation rules, requirement gathering, testing, and CRM administration. Must have the ability to process, clean, analyze, and interpret data using different approaches and business intelligence tools to provide key insights and recommend improvements; and the ability to analyze business workflows/processes and design custom solutions within CRM systems to meet business needs. Experience with Salesforce administration and tools (Tableau, Mulesoft, Slack, etc) is preferred. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, inquisitive, and innovative, with the ability to set direction, manage their own work, and effectively obtain results from others.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $86,000.00 to USD $106,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
