Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Corporate Card Programs within the CFO Organization. The role focuses on optimizing Amex and P-Card programs, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring robust governance, data integrity, and cost savings through analytics.

The candidate will drive innovation through AI-enabled financial processes, while managing risk and developing a high-performing team across Procurement, Finance, IT, and HR.

Qualifications

• 8+ years negotiating vendor agreements and managing strategic partnerships.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Experience integrating AI technologies to boost productivity while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong SAP Concur administration experience, including integrations and reporting.
• Extensive experience managing American Express corporate card programs and Amex tools.
• Proven cross-functional leadership across Procurement, Finance, IT and HR.

Job description

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director - Corporate Card Programs to join our CFO Organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize the firm’s American Express Corporate Card and P-Card programs, serving as the primary relationship owner and strategic partner to maximize financial value, program performance, and enterprise-wide adoption
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and American Express to negotiate contracts, rebates, payment structures, and service agreements that enhance working capital, improve vendor payment processes, and deliver favorable commercial outcomes
• Oversee corporate card operations, including program administration, policy governance, fraud prevention, delinquency management, auditing, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation across travel and purchasing card portfolios
• Manage the integrity of corporate card integrations and data feeds between American Express, SAP Concur, and internal financial systems, ensuring accurate reporting, issue resolution, and operational continuity
• Drive strategic payment innovation through virtual cards, Buyer Initiated Payments (BIP), automation, and data analytics to improve spend visibility, strengthen controls, identify cost savings, and increase rebate opportunities
• Lead and develop team members while fostering a culture of customer service, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, including governance of AI-enabled financial processes and internal control frameworks
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum eight years of recent and relevant experienceto negotiate vendor agreements, manage strategic partnerships, and apply sound financial controls and risk management practices
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required
• Ability to integrate emerging AI technologies to enhance individual and team productivity while maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Strong SAP Concur Expense administration experience, including troubleshooting integrations, transaction management, and reporting capabilities
• Extensive experience managing American Express corporate card programs, including hands-on expertise with Amex @ Work and related administrative tools
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams and initiatives between Procurement, Finance, IT, and HR, with excellent communication, leadership, customer service, and team development skills, including the ability to leverage AI technologies to improve productivity and efficiency
