Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier Spokane is seeking an Associate Director, Controls Engineering to lead the OT systems strategy and the end-to-end GMP compliant controls program. This on-site role in Spokane requires driving engineering excellence across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, historians, and networked control systems.

You will collaborate with QA, Validation, Manufacturing, MS&T, and external partners to deliver capital projects on time and within budget while maintaining GEP, cGMP, and data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, CS) or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharma preferred).
• 5+ years designing and managing manufacturing controls systems, automation, and capital projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical oversight for the Controls Engineering function.
• Develop and execute long-term controls strategy aligned with growth and compliance.
• Oversee OT systems definition (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, historians, networks).
• Ensure reliability, security, lifecycle management of automation and controls systems.
• Manage engineering resources and partners to deliver projects on time and budget.
