Founded on rigorous scientific inquiry and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions, Revolution Medicines is committed to changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers worldwide.

Our people are united by a shared way of working: follow the science, challenge assumptions, act with urgency and hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor—all in service of patients.

The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking an experienced commercial contracts attorney to serve as Associate Director, Contracts Counsel. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements supporting commercialization and overall business operations, including but not limited to services, consulting, data, distribution, market access, patient support, and other customer- and vendor-facing arrangements.
  • Draft and negotiate wholesaler/distributor, specialty pharmacy, 3PL, GPO, PBM/payer, rebate, and value-based contracting arrangements supporting product launch and distribution.
  • Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Patient Support, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance to deliver timely, practical legal support.
  • Advise on healthcare compliance and fraud-and-abuse considerations, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code, the federal Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and FDA/OPDP promotional requirements.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract structure, interpretation, performance, and compliance, translating complex legal concepts into clear, actionable business advice.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate legal, regulatory, operational, and reputational risks associated with commercial arrangements and recommend pragmatic mitigation strategies.
  • Support commercialization and launch-readiness planning through contracting approaches that align with business strategy and applicable legal and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain commercial contract templates, playbooks, approval processes, and contract-lifecycle tools, including the Company's contract management system and key obligations.
  • Train and guide business teams on contract templates, contracting processes, and commercial-contracting best practices.
  • Coordinate with counterparties, outside counsel, and internal Legal and Compliance colleagues on contract negotiations, disputes, and other commercial matters, as appropriate.
  • Support fair market value analyses and contracting for healthcare professional engagements, including consulting, advisory board, and speaker arrangements in coordination with the Compliance team.

The Associate Director, Contracts Counsel may take on additional assignments, projects, and responsibilities to support the Legal team and broader business objectives.
