Job Description: Associate Director, Compliance Operations
The Associate Director, Compliance Operations will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and unfettered access to the Board of Managers. and partner with Total Ancillary’s functions and teams to implement an effective compliance program robust enough to withstand regulatory agency scrutiny.
The Associate Director, Compliance Operations will use leadership, influence, strategic thinking and a solutions-oriented approach to operationalize compliance controls to track and demonstrate the organization is meeting its company goals in a compliant manner. This position will interact with and advise key business function Leadership and their staff within the company.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Co-chair Compliance Committee, track meeting minutes and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Own implementation and management of the Total Ancillary Compliance Program Portal.
- Manage vendor relationship, contract, purchase order, budget and project timelines.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to define and incorporate business rules and identify strategy and tactics to integrate use of the platform into the fabric of the organization.
- Thoroughly test and launch platform, mentor administrators and train end users on use of the platform.
- Oversee routine use of the platform, troubleshoot challenges and identify potential enhancements.
- Provide routine analytics and reporting to demonstrate the compliance program is working in day-to-day practice. Identify efficiencies, effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. Track and trend progress over time.
- Supervise implementation and management of Due Diligence program for employees and third-parties as a pre-requisite for employment or engagement and as a condition of ongoing employment and engagement. Tailor due diligence per employee and third-party type, including assessment of financial history, potential conflicts of interest, financial relationships with referral sources and standing with global regulatory enforcement agencies.
- Establish document lifecycle management processes for Written Standards, Training, Training Curricula, Communications, Materials and Messages regarding Total Ancillary offerings and Contracts. Ensure documents are reviewed and approved prior to use and maintain version control.
- Develop and implement interactive and engaging training that addresses adult learning principles. Track timely training completion and escalate overdue training. Ensure training includes learning retention assessments to demonstrate effectiveness and collaborate with people managers to facilitate remedial training when needed.
- Maintain the Total Ancillary Compliance helpline and investigate reported compliance concerns.
- Spearhead compliance Auditing and Monitoring Program to ensure ensuring internal controls are capable of preventing and detecting significant instances or patterns of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct by employees and third-parties.

Qualifications:
Education:
B.S. or B.A. degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of business operations and healthcare compliance experience in the Biologics, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Diagnostics industry, including experience with building or advancing healthcare compliance programs and working with business teams to achieve business objectives.
- Sophisticated ability to demonstrate creativity and flexibility in developing solutions that satisfy both business requirements and legal obligations.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects in a fast-moving environment.
- Able to influence and gain consensus across teams.
- Ability to lead as well as collaborate, and function well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive work relationships and effectively interface across the organization.
- Excellent communicator – both verbal and written - with business acumen and the ability to consistently meet or exceed project deadlines.
- Flexible, high level of integrity, action and goal oriented.
Preferred Qualification:
CCEP certification preferred.
Work Location:
Remote with some travel to Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA.
