The Airborne & Sustainment portfolio in the Strategic Communications business area has an immediate need for a highly-experienced Program Manager to lead a high complexity program effort that encompasses both development and production activities simultaneously.
You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience Program or project management experience in government, defense, aerospace or related industry 5+ years of experience in Program Management OR Related Project Management experience to include leading teams managing cost, schedule and technical performance 10+ years of experience in leading organizations closely aligned with a program management office (Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations) Experience leading engineering development programs with both hardware and software Self-directed leader capable of executing Change Management and handling ambiguity Engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) phase experience with DoD programs Customer-facing program leadership experience, with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills Ability to travel for customers, company, and program-related activities (up to 10%) Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S citizens are eligible for security clearance Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers Strong working knowledge of and demonstrated experience with business and project management tools and processes such as EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasting, EAC

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
