Job summary

Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is seeking an Associate Director to strengthen the Community Relations work, including government affairs, antisemitism education, and intergroup relations.

You will manage frontline coverage of Martin County, develop partnerships, and support Palm Beach Center initiatives while reporting to the Director of Community Relations. The role includes staff support to boards and committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civic/community engagement, public affairs or related field required; Masters preferred.
• Two+ years of relevant experience in Jewish communal, non-profit, public sector or related field.
• Experience working with diverse lay leaders, volunteers and colleagues.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, Zoom and basic database skills.
• Knowledge of current events, Israel and Jewish world, and public policy issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to build relationships within and beyond the Jewish community.
• Represent the Federation on coalitions, task forces and community events.
• Advise and support interfaith and intergroup collaborations.
• Assist in crisis response planning for antisemitic incidents.
