Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks an Associate Director of Commercial Data Management, Pipeline to lead strategy, governance, and operations of the company’s commercial data ecosystem for its Osavampator and Direclidine programs.

You will ensure trusted, high-quality data across the commercial organization, partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable data environments and regulatory-compliant operations in a matrixed setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech Commercial Operations or related areas.
• Master’s degree is preferred with 8+ years of similar experience.
• Expert knowledge of data management practices focused on Commercial data management (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of the commercial biopharma data ecosystem, data governance, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead data management activities for pre-launch pipeline initiatives (Osavampator, Direclidine).
• Define and execute Neurocrine’s commercial data strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish data governance, data purchasing decisions, procedures and standards.
• Oversee budget and contracting for data management, including data licensing and 3rd-party engagements.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, accessibility, and regulatory compliance across datasets.
• Lead transition from pre-launch to post-launch operational support.
• Collaborate with Field Operations, Analytics, Marketing, and IT to meet evolving needs.
• Align Data Management goals with pipeline brand strategy in partnership with leadership.
• Onboard key data sources with IT, aligning with enterprise architecture.
• Drive continuous improvement in data collection, management and consumption processes.
• Manage cross-functional projects spanning pipeline strategy, tech implementations, and optimizations.
