The Role

BCL is seeking a full-time Associate Director, Commerce to join an industry leading beauty brand client team. You will be responsible for building a strong presence and delivering on market share growth across critical digital commerce platforms. The Commerce Associate Director reports into the Commerce Director and will be responsible for leading a team of Commerce Managers and Associates. This role will be client facing, and requires strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding and mastery of Commerce Media, with proven ability to deliver business outcomes through retail media formats, and shoppable formats across social and programmatic
  • Support development of near- and long-term plans focused on delivering sales and market share growth for a portfolio of brands and products
  • Work with cross-functional team-members, including brand strategy and investment, to ensure a connected commerce approach is deployed across all brands
  • Continuously evaluate and improve on performance, as well as help establish best practices and playbooks
  • Leverage data to drive insights, testing opportunities and ongoing media optimizations that deliver against business objectives
  • Help lead and manage the day-to-day priorities for a team of high-performance commerce specialists
  • Assure quality control of all commerce media activations
  • Exhibit intellectual generosity and support the learning & development of staff across the agency by actively contributing to OMG’s commerce community

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with planning and activation of commerce media across platforms, such as Amazon, Instacart, Walmart, CitrusAd and Criteo
  • Proven ability to leverage analytics and to apply a data-driven approach to media planning and optimization that delivers on business outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage and develop junior talent within the team
  • Ability to develop trust and strong relationships with client teams
  • Previous experience running programmatic (Amazon DSP, TradeDesk, DV360), and social (e.g., Meta and Pinterest) is preferred
  • Previous experience running Shopping or direct response acquisition campaigns is preferred
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience is required

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$125,000—$135,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
