Job summary

The Chicago School is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Training for our Washington, DC Campus. The role supports the Clinical Psy.D. program and oversees practicum and internship experiences while advising students on professional development.

You will work with site supervisors and faculty, teach courses, and contribute to accreditation efforts, maintaining ethical standards and a commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level, licensed psychologist from an APA accredited doctoral program.
• Experience supervising graduate students.
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in site selection and review of practicum and doctoral internship materials.
• Monitor practicum progress, evaluations, hour logs, and related paperwork.
• Advise on remediation planning for students and discuss training concerns with faculty.
• Develop and maintain a network of practicum sites; visit sites for development and maintenance.
• Teach 4 credits as assigned by the Clinical Psy.D. Department Chair.
• Participate in re-accreditation efforts and department meetings.
