Job summary

Artiva Biotherapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Data Management to lead and scale our CDM function as we advance our NK cell therapy pipeline. This senior role combines hands-on program oversight with organizational accountability and serves as the internal SME on data management across one or more clinical studies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of clinical data management experience in pharma/biotech/CRO
• Progressive leadership roles (5+ years)
• Deep expertise in EDC systems and CDISC standards
• Experience managing CRO/third-party DM vendors
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and inspections
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of CDM activities across assigned programs from study start-up through database lock
• Lead or oversee DM documents including CRFs, Data Management Plans, edit check specs, Data Review Plans, SAE reconciliation
• Lead Artiva UAT strategy and execution for EDC builds and maintain standards
• Manage CRO and third-party vendor relationships; oversee scope, quality, timelines and budget
• Drive program-level DM timelines and cross-study milestone visibility
• Coordinate and lead Artiva data quality reviews
• Participate in regular study and project team meetings
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Champion CDISC standards adoption (CDASH/SDTM) and EDC best practices
• Mentor and develop CDM staff at all levels
