Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an experienced Associate Director of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Service to lead the clinical, educational, administrative, and quality initiatives across the CL psychiatry service at our Tisch/Kimmel campus.

The role includes direct clinical consultation, supervision of trainees and faculty, and collaboration with medical and surgical teams to improve care for medically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry required or board-eligible.
• Experience leading CL psychiatry programs preferred.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric consultation for hospitalized medically complex patients across hospital settings.
• Lead CL Psychiatry Service operations, including triage, consultation standards, and case review.
• Drive hospital-wide quality and safety initiatives related to psychiatric care.
• Foster collaboration with medical and surgical teams for patient-centered care.
• Oversee education and training of residents and fellows; mentor faculty.
