Summary:

The Associate Director, Cellular Therapy Market Access is responsible for executing access and reimbursement strategies within identified Cell Therapy accounts in the assigned geography during all phases of account onboarding and post-onboarding. This role leads all Cell Therapy Market Access activities and collaborates with internal partners and external customers. The individual must achieve all goals while maintaining compliance with BMS standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure assigned Cell Therapy treatment centers understand all elements of Market Access, including government payer policy, local payer dynamics, coverage policy, reimbursement, coding & billing, and the Cell Therapy ordering and distribution process.
  • Work cross-functionally within the team and with external stakeholders to meet product objectives.
  • Support and maintain collaborative relationships with customer-facing teams.
  • Support P&T adoption in treatment centers.
  • Provide regional marketplace feedback to management on trends, updates, and account issues.
  • Drive understanding of site-of-care economics for treatment centers.
  • Drive access pull-through by establishing goals and assisting account managers to remove access barriers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with access stakeholders within treatment centers.
  • Facilitate patient journey and escalate access challenges as needed.
  • Contribute to business plans aligned with access objectives.
  • Deliver presentations on access and reimbursement topics.
  • Meet performance and competency requirements.
  • Travel primarily within the assigned geography.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of Cell Therapy experience preferred.
  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry support roles preferred.
  • 5+ years of oncology/hematology reimbursement experience, including coverage, coding, billing, Medicare, and local coverage determinations.
  • Buy and bill experience required; certification is a plus.
  • Technical expertise in Market Access and Cell Therapy within payer and hospital systems.
  • Deep knowledge of reimbursement, coding, billing, and healthcare industry sales and marketing.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, travel up to 50%, and develop strategies.

The starting salary range is $199,040 - $241,200, plus incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and more. Candidates must meet driver qualifications and be vaccinated against Covid-19.
