Base pay range

$129,300.00/yr - $177,800.00/yr

The Associate Director, Business Intelligence collates, models, interprets and analyzes data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends. Explains variances and trends and enhances modeling techniques. May possess financial or actuarial background. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. This role is for the PCO Medical Economics team and will work an Eastern Time Zone schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, economics, actuarial science or related technical field
  • 8 years of technical experience in SQL and PowerBI
  • Experience in managing data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues
  • Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data to identify, explain, influence variances and trends
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams
  • Experience in payor agnostic data environment
  • Experience with claims data (IP, OP, PHY, & RX)
  • Experience with payer service fund financial data

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$129,300 - $177,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
