As the Associate Director, Behavioral Health Network, you will serve as the voice of our providers within the organization. Your responsibilities include managing provider relations, service interactions, network development, and contracting. You will oversee contract relationships, address claim issues, promote portal usage, and develop provider education programs. Your role involves designing programs to foster positive relationships and meet strategic objectives with providers, hospitals, and practice managers. You will also identify network gaps and guide contracting priorities.

This position requires being located in Tennessee, preferably in Middle or West Tennessee, with remote work flexibility.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Represent provider interests within the organization, measured by Provider NPS.
  2. Act as a dedicated resource for assigned providers and market organizations.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on complex contract requirements.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key providers and serve as their primary contact for behavioral health relations.
  5. Develop strategies and plans supporting health plan programs based on market needs.
  6. Collaborate with other teams to ensure an integrated provider experience.
  7. Manage provider inquiries and resolve claim issues.
  8. Develop partnerships for sharing best practices and innovation.
  9. Proactively address provider needs with solutions.
  10. Navigate cross-functional teams in a complex environment.
  11. Resolve operational and organizational issues beyond your team.
  12. Explain complex issues clearly to others.
  13. Lead and evaluate the performance of managers and senior staff.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Behavioral Health Care Network Management or similar roles.
  2. Experience with TENNCARE Medicaid.
  3. Strong communication skills across organizational levels and with leadership.
  4. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  5. Experience achieving goals in a matrix environment.
  6. Understanding of behavioral health provider contracting and terminology.
  7. Knowledge of claims and payment policies.
  8. Familiarity with systems like FACETS, Salesforce, EDI, and clearinghouses.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  10. Willingness and ability to travel locally up to 25% within Tennessee.

Salary range: $106,800 to $194,200 annually, based on full-time employment, experience, and other factors. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
