Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Cancer Center invites applications from senior investigators for leadership roles at the Associate Professor or Professor level.

The Associate Director of Basic Sciences or Associate Director Shared Resources will provide scientific leadership to advance basic science research within the MCW Cancer Center, fostering collaboration across programs and advising on programmatic grant development.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD or MD) required.
• Proven track record securing extramural funding.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary cancer research setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership to advance basic science research within the MCW Cancer Center.
• Serve as key advisor for programmatic grant development and strategic planning.
• Mentor faculty, supervise trainees and staff, and support recruitment and collaborative initiatives across programs.
