Job summary

The Wexner Medical Center is looking for an academic electrophysiologist to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as Associate Director for Arrhythmia Research. Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible and have experience in clinical or translational research.

This position will lead a team focused on treating complex arrhythmias in a state-of-the-art facility that values innovation and research. An Ohio license and qualification for academic appointment are required.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for an Ohio License.
• Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University.
• Experience in managing atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Focus on routine and complex atrial arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services.
• Lead innovative clinical research and educational initiatives.

Board Eligible/Certified

Clinical or Translational Research experience

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Successful completion of a US accredited cardiology fellowship
