Job summary

HLZAE, Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Architecture in New York for leading project management across a studio of Project Managers and Associates. You will ensure quality, profitability, and timely delivery while mentoring staff and supporting professional development.

Responsibilities include staffing planning, development of façade restoration and building envelope projects, and collaboration with the Studio Director to drive business growth. Hybrid work in NY.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software; adaptable to new tech.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills; NYC Building Codes knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Project Managers and Associates.
• Coordinate assignments for optimal utilization and teamwork.
• Review budgets, timelines, and deliverables for multiple projects.
• Monitor project phases, budgets, and accounts receivable.
• Perform quality assurance and involve specialists as needed.
• Act as Senior Project Manager for assigned projects and mentor staff.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and business development.
