Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an experienced TS/MS Associate Director to lead drug substance and product processes for advanced therapies. You will manage technology transfer, validation strategies, and robust process control across cGMP late‑phase and commercial manufacturing, collaborating with Engineering, QA, Development, and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of cGMP commercial manufacturing experience in TS/MS or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams.
• Experience with gene therapy modalities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer of new modalities to the site.
• Develop and execute process and validation strategies.
• Establish robust process control and capability; ensure GMP compliance.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, QA, QC, Development, and Regulatory functions.
• Drive site technical agenda and cross‑functional governance.
