Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Program QA Leadership professional to own quality strategy and governance for oral development programs, ensuring readiness milestones are met. The role emphasizes strong cross-functional leadership and risk-based decision making within a dynamic biopharma setting.

The position involves oversight of external vendors/CMOs, maintaining inspection readiness, and producing governance deliverables. Base salary and equity are offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

BS+ Life Sciences / Engineering (or related).
10–12 years QA experience with development-stage oversight.
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and risk-based judgment.

Responsibilities

Own quality strategy, governance cadence, and risk register for assigned oral programs, define and track readiness milestones.
Guide application of QMS processes (deviations / CAPA / change control) in development context and ensure timely closure.
Oversee external vendors / CMOs supporting oral development activities as applicable, ensure governance and escalation pathways.
