Job summary

Vuori, Inc. is seeking an Associate Developer focused on Athlete Apparel to drive the development lifecycle from design handoff through kit delivery.

You will act as the main development contact for athletes and coordinate with marketing, design, merchandising, and factory partners to ensure accurate, timely product execution. The role requires 3+ years in product development or management, knowledge of garment construction and costing, and experience with PLM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of product development or product management experience.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, costing, and pre-production coordination.
  • Experience with PLM systems and project timelines.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of the development process for assigned athletes and styles, from concept through delivery, ensuring milestones are met on time.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day development contact for vendors for assigned athlete projects, driving clear communication, accountability, and alignment to calendar, cost, and product expectations.
  • Support development WIP and time & action calendars for assigned athletes, ensuring vendors are submitting accurate and timely updates; proactively follow up on status and risks, and reporting to management.
  • Own ordering for assigned styles, ensuring all development requirements—including costing, testing, approvals, and documentation—are completed accurately and on time.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all critical product specifications within the PLM system, including style details, technical properties, BOMs, costing, testing status, and buy readiness indicators.
  • Maintain accuracy of technical packages to ensure products meet goals for mobility, function, fit, quality, and athlete needs.
  • Participate in fittings with Design and Technical Design. Communicate development, fit, and visual feedback to vendors in alignment with cross-functional direction.
  • Own and manage all submits (lab dips, trims, washes, strike-offs, PPS, etc.), including tracking, receiving, organizing, and preparing materials for milestone meetings.
  • Guide and partner cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment across Sports Marketing, Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Materials, and Trims/Color, identifying risks or gaps early in projects.
  • Support compliance and performance testing for assigned categories and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues ahead of delivery.
  • Assist with seasonal workbooks and development recaps as needed, including proofing for accuracy of style information, images, and product details.

Job Description

You will have the opportunity to bring Vuori designs to life. What you'll get to do:

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering,Manufacturingor equivalentyears of experience preferred.
  • 3+years of product development experience isrequiredand/or product management experience with an understanding record of managing product from concept to completion.
  • Knowledge of materials used in the engineering and manufacturing processes used to build products
  • Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches & related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshopa plus
  • Intermediateadvanced computer skills with emphasis onProject timelines&PLMSystems.
  • Aptitude for systems and systematic work
  • Mustpossessknowledge of garment construction,costing,and all pre-production coordination.
  • Demonstrate a strong ownership mindset, proactive problem solving, and increasing independence whileleveragingManager support for strategic guidance.
  • International travel experience is a plus; possible international travelrequired
  • Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weightup to25lbs, depending on need.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 per year - $89,000 per year.
