Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC in New York City is seeking a designer to support seasonal children's apparel collections, focusing on Big Girls Walmart licensed products. You will research trends, create and update designs using Illustrator and Photoshop, and work with design, merchandising, and product development teams to ensure concepts align with brand goals.

The role requires 2+ years of apparel design experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus.
• Must be located in NYC.
• Position is onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
