Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in New York, NY is seeking a talented apparel designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections. You will research trends, create designs and colorways in Illustrator and Photoshop, and present concepts to cross-functional teams.

Collaboration with Senior Designers, Merchandising and Product Development is essential as you help deliver on-brand concepts, organize design files, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business.

• Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customer
• Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus
• Must be located in NYC
• Position is primarily onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays
