Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking an Associate Designer for the Sweaters category in New York. This role partners with Design, Product Development, Technical Design and Merchandising to ensure clear development processes and timely hand-offs to Product Development.

Responsibilities include creating sketches (Procreate/hand), maintaining line knowledge, and presenting results during line reviews. 2–3 years in fashion design with sweaters experience is preferred; BA/Associate in Design required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in Fashion Design, Sweaters experience preferred.
• BA, Associates degree, or equivalent in Design.

Responsibilities

• Design and development for the Sweaters category from concept to production.
• Assist in fabric research and development; fabricate basic core items like jackets/outerwear.
