Job summary

24 Seven Talent is seeking an Associate Designer for the Kids and Baby line to support development from concept to production. You will collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Technical Design, Sales, and overseas factory partners to bring seasonal concepts to life.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of apparel design experience, a strong eye for garment construction, color, print, and detail, and proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 2+ years of apparel design experience; children’s wear is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, fit standards, and product development.
• Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills; CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of children’s apparel from concept to production.
• Research seasonal trends, color, print, fabric, and silhouette for kids.
• Create mood boards, CADs, flats, technical drawings, and market presentations.
• Own CAD development and keep design files organized in PLM.
• Assist with artwork mill sheets and technical packages.
• Prepare prints, swatches, and materials for line reviews.
• Help manage in-house design requests and presentation development.
