Job summary

Aeropostale, Inc. is seeking an Associate Designer for Girls’ Wovens in New York. You will support seasonal concepts, research trends, and develop product with CADs, tech packs, and colorways.

The role requires 3–4 years of apparel design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Illustrator/Photoshop. Collaboration with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, and Production is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• 3-4 years of apparel design experience in teen/YA/contemporary brands.
• Strong portfolio showing design and trend awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design & Creative Development: research seasonal trends and create mood boards.
• Develop CADs, technical sketches, colorways, and design presentations.
• Produce and refine tech packs with construction specs and BOM.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Dev, and Sourcing.
