Gina Group is seeking a Junior Associate Designer to join the Footwear department. You will contribute to design ownership for licensed brands, CAD full seasonal collections, and trend-driven concepts.

Collaborate with design leadership, interact with international offices and factories, and support product development to bring your vision to life. This role offers a hybrid schedule and growth opportunities.

Summary

We are looking for a Junior Associate Designer to join our team to join our Footwear department. This is a great opportunity for those looking to be a part of an energetic, creative, and collaborative group. Our designers have been shaping our department for the better season after season.

Responsibilities

• Design ownership over selected licensed brands and assigned to you based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, responsible for CADing full seasonal collections.
• CAD work for various private label accounts, typically fun prints with understanding of brand DNA.
• Conduct trend research and market analysis to inform design direction and ensure relevance in the market.
• Work closely with design director and senior designers with creative freedom throughout process
• Communicate effectively with international offices and factories to ensure seamless production.
• Work closely with product development team so they properly develop your design the way you envision
• Conduct sourcing, trend research, and competitive shopping to stay on top of market trends and innovation.

NY Pay Transparency

The pay range for this position is ($50,000 – $60,000) based on skills and experience.
