Job summary

Gina Group in New York, NY is seeking an Associate Designer to join our Beauty division, bringing a passion for makeup and trend-driven design. The role involves owning designs for licensed brands, developing CADs, and collaborating across teams to deliver seasonal collections.

You will work with international offices and factories to ensure accurate production, conduct market research, and stay ahead of beauty trends. A 1+ year background and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industry experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Take design ownership of selected licensed brands and create complete seasonal collections.
• Develop CADs for private label accounts, ensuring designs align with brand DNA and aesthetic direction.
• Conduct trend and market research to inform design concepts and maintain market relevance.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Senior Designers throughout the design process.
• Communicate effectively with international offices and factories to support production and execution.
• Partner with Product Development to ensure designs are brought to life accurately and effectively.
• Conduct sourcing, trend research, and competitive shopping to stay on top of market trends.

NY Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this position is ($50,000 - $55,000) annually based on skills and experience.
