About The Role

The Designer would be working primarily in the category of collaborations and licensing supporting our senior designer with print design, technical spec creation, color pitching, creating presentation boards, general organization, cross functional communication, tracking project status, plm communication

Responsibilities
  • Scan, print and paint textile designs
  • Assist team with spec out process, pitching color positions, printing and digitally cleaning artwork
  • Organize detailed information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help with presentation boards and presentation mockups as needed
  • Be involved in concept set up.
  • Update and maintain seasonal product information
  • Be proactive; can see what needs to be done and pitch in to help
  • Operate a computer and communicate via telephone
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite & Adobe
  • good communication skills.
  • Strong Photoshop required & PLM knowledge helpful but not required
  • Keeping files organized and clear
Criteria
  • Bachelors or Design degree (or experience in related field)
  • Should understand how to create repeats and color match digital prints to textiles
  • Very strong color eye and have keen color vision
  • have an clear understanding of home design and aspirational aesthetic
  • 2 years work experience in related field
  • Basic understanding of design/art concepts, lexicon and skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong photoshop skills
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • This role requires being onsite in the (151 union street San Francisco) office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
