Job summary

Unispace is growing its US Design team in Texas and seeks an Associate Designer to help transform workplaces in Austin.

You'll lead design projects end-to-end, partner with sales, strategy and delivery, mentor junior designers, and help set sustainability and technology standards across the studio.

This role blends client leadership with hands-on design, documentation, and collaboration to win work and deliver high-profile interiors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex, end-to-end commercial interior projects.
• Experience delivering high-profile pitches and persuasive RFP materials.
• Knowledge of US building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-profile workplace design projects from inception through delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, managing senior stakeholders and long-term partnerships.
• Partner with Sales and Preconstruction to lead RFP responses and craft winning design pitches.
• Mentor Designers and Senior Designers across creative and technical sets.
• Drive design best practices, sustainability standards and technology adoption in the studio.
• Stay ahead of workplace trends and turn insights into innovative client solutions.

Unispace is growing through the second half of 2026, and our US Design team is looking for an Associate Designer to join our Texas team.

You'll see design as a business driver, working hand-in-hand with Sales, Strategy, Preconstruction and Delivery to win work and steer projects to success. You'll be transforming workspaces and elevating some of the most recognizable commercial spaces in the Office Interiors market.

What you'll do:

• Lead high-profile workplace design projects from inception through delivery

What you'll bring:

• A proven track record leading complex, end-to-end commercial interior projects
• Success delivering high-profile pitches and persuasive RFP materials
• Strong grasp of project financials, US building codes and industry standards
• Proficiency in Revit, InDesign and Photoshop, with a sharp eye for documentation quality
• The ability to guide teams, influence executives and prioritize under pressure
