Job description

What's the role?

- Perform structural calculations for complex design applications (e.g., DE in PMO - Core & Complex; E&I Supports, MEP Supports, Cables Support, Ceiling Grids).
- Perform technical engineering design and calculations as per requirements set by LE and EM on a project.

What does the role involve?

Project Execution

• Based on the internal requirements defined by the customer-facing Lead Engineer, create the "design core" that serves as input to modelers (internal/external).
• Join project meetings with all Hilti parties involved to coordinate and optimize MEP fastening (DE2 and DE3).
• Identify and estimate job scope deviations and assist in change management.
• Engineer MEP applications based on Hilti modular support systems and basic design of related products, anchors, anchor channels, and direct fastening using Hilti proprietary software (PROFIS suite) or calculations, ensuring proper documentation (Design reports, Project design submittals, etc.).
• Provide and derive bill of materials and explain solutions to other Hilti functions (supply chain, sales, Field Engineers).
• Collaborate on project execution with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure adherence to Hilti standards.
• Follow supporting guidelines during execution.
• Ensure high quality, time management, and adherence to company processes within own scope of work.

• Establish excellent working relationships with team members and counterparts in MO or regions (DE3 with VE HUB).
• Focus on personal growth and continuous development.

What you need is:

• 2-7 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering in Steel Structures.
• University Degree (Bachelor or Masters) in structural/civil engineering, mechanical, or fire protection.
• Basic understanding of structural connections, support systems, and fire protection.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Recommended B2 English level and regional language skills.
