Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care, from initial exams and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office services include endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

A generous sign-on bonus is offered and ongoing CE opportunities are provided. Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining records and collaborating

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification on file.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental and medical records.
• Interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
