Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA, is seeking a Full-time Associate Dentist to lead the patient care journey from exam to treatment. The role includes in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and update dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform required surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards and ethics in patient care.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with developments.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
