Job summary

42North Dental in the United States is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care from exam through treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available and 42North Dental offers substantial earning potential and ongoing education in a collaborative network. Required: DMD or DDS, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination documentation, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plans with patients and explain options.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Malpractice insurance proof

BLS or CPR certification
