Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care from exams to delivery of treatment. In-office services include restorative, endodontic, periodontic, oral surgery, and orthodontic procedures. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available.

The role requires a DDS/DMD, active licensure, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice coverage, and BLS/CPR certification. Benefits and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Uphold high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
