Job summary

42 North Dental seeks an Associate Dentist to lead patient care from initial exam through treatment delivery. The role encompasses in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics within a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
