Job summary

42 North Dental in Enfield, CT is seeking a full-time General Dentist to provide the complete clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

You will join an established practice with a strong flow of new patients, a guaranteed daily rate and sign-on incentive, plus comprehensive benefits, malpractice coverage, a 401(k) plan, ongoing education and mentorship

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education
