Job summary

42North Dental in Pennsylvania seeks a full-time Associate Dentist to manage the complete patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will create treatment plans, educate patients on options, review plans, and maintain dental records, while staying current with advancements through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
