Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist in the United States to deliver comprehensive dental care from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, create and review treatment plans, maintain and update medical and dental records, interpret x-rays, perform surgical and restorative procedures, and

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through ongoing education.
