Job summary
42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a full-time Associate Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care and patient education. You will manage exams, diagnoses, treatment planning, and the delivery of in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for continuing education within our network.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain highest quality of care for all patients.
- Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
- Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
