Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA seeks a Full-Time General Dentist to oversee the complete clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and assess treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment choices.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests to guide care.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
