Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care. You will manage exams, treatment plans, and comprehensive dental services in-office, including periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics as described.

This role emphasizes high-quality care and ongoing professional development. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and potential for 36% of collections, with benefits and flexible CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
