Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist in Montoursville, PA to manage the complete clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a competitive daily schedule and a generous compensation structure based on collections.

Earn between $150,000 and $250,000 annually with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. The role offers ongoing CE opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Dentist with DMD or DDS degree and ADA CODA accreditation.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and ethics
• Keep current with new developments, technologies and best practices in dentistry

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
