Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME seeks a licensed dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic approach with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam through delivery of care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical and professional standards and keep records up to date.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
