Job summary

Bethesda Dental Specialists in Bethesda, MD, invites an patient-focused Associate Dentist to join a high-performing, fully digital team. You’ll practice general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry with autonomy, supported by SDM resources, mentorship, and a collaborative network within Guardian Dentistry Partners.

Requirements include DDS or DMD from an accredited program, active state license and DEA, strong communication skills, and comfort with iTero scanning and digital impressions.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program.
• Active State Dental License & DEA License, in good standing.
• Competency in comprehensive dentistry including: Restorative procedures, Extractions (simple and surgical), Crown & Bridge, Endodontics (Root Canals).
• iTero scanning experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills & a collaborative spirit.
• Committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive general, cosmetic and restorative dental care—with a focus on patient comfort, education and outcomes.
• Perform thorough examinations, diagnose conditions and create clear, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and operational partners for seamless, high-quality care.
• Leverage digital tools such as digital x-rays, iTero, and CEREC to support accurate diagnosis and patient communication.
• Engage in continuing professional development through SDM’s clinician network and learning resources.
• Contribute to a team culture built on respect, integrity and growth.
• Potential to also work at a sister practice nearby.
