Job summary

42 North Dental in Hamilton Township, PA is hiring a licensed Dentist for a part-time role. You’ll own the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The schedule includes two Saturdays per month (7:00 AM–12:00 PM) with potential for benefits when switching to full-time. We offer a competitive daily rate of $750–$900 USD and ample opportunities for continuing education

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
