Job summary

42North Dental in the United States seeks a Dentist to deliver comprehensive care from exams to treatment planning. In our established practice, you’ll treat a steady flow of new patients and participate in in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role is part-time with scheduling on Labor Day to Memorial Day and two Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM, plus access to ongoing education and mentorship within aDoctors network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
