Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to join our established practice in Massachusetts. The role covers the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment plan and delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics.

The candidate will oversee comprehensive patient care, work within a collaborative network, and participate in continuing education. We value ethics, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
